What gives Slate 7 an edge is its fine audio
quality with the extra bass edge and the 13-ounce strong steel body make it a
worthy competitor for its upcoming counterparts. It is the first in the market
to offer the embedded Beats Audio system. In addition there are settings to
download software too.
The tablet’s high power backup allows it to play videos for
at least five hours. The camera provides a panoramic view in the bright, open
spaces. The back of the camera is made of rubber, which is smooth and soft,
giving it a firm grip to hold.
The one main feature that sets Slate 7 apart from its counterparts is the HP ePrint that allows one to open files from any application and take printouts over Wi-fi, anywhere.
In terms of price, the Android device by HP is cheaper than its counterparts and will be offered at $169.
Available in colors of red and silver, the device is now ready for its countrywide launch in April.
Hewlett Packard is the best when it comes to producing
top-class PCs. It is venturing slowly into the tablet market. Last year, the
TouchPad was launched to compete against the iPad, but because it fell back in
its style, apps and device speed, it failed to do well in the gizmo market.
Consumers as well as businessmen are increasingly showing their preference to buy tablets and HP is cashing in on the opportunity. So, looks like it may actually compete with the soon-to-be-launched Google tablet Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindlefire. With its unique display, its compact features, fine audio quality and its huge capacity to store applications and download software and games, this tablet is all set to make inroads into the global tablet market. But, only time will tell how well it will perform and whether it can compete against the other tablets.
