Justin Bieber separated from pet monkey in Germany

Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber seems to be literally reeling in shock after his breakup with singer Selena Gomez last year. First, he went public about his breakup with Gomez in his single, then got into a messy clash with the paparazzi, and after that fainted during his London tour onstage. More recently, he also got into a ‘spit’ spat with a neighbor. What more, Justin?

And now, the latest is his painful separation from his dear pet Mally. The singer, who is on his latest European tour, was prevented from carrying the monkey aboard his private plane in Germany. The monkey, a capuchin, was gifted by his friend and producer Mally Mall when the singer had turned 19 this year.

Apparently Bieber’s celeb charm didn’t go down well with the stern German officials at the Munich airport. They found the pet ‘dangerous’ and even fined him for sneaking it in. The officials gave lack of proper health documents as the reason to prevent him from entering the European Union with the animal.

An official said, ‘You cannot just land with a wild animal and bring it into the country if the flight has not originated from another EU country and you don't have the proper paperwork.’

The small-sized capuchin monkeys are known for their affinity with humans and considered extremely intelligent. At the same time, a few wildlife experts say that usually these monkeys can be quite aggressive and can even attack their owners when they attain maturity, which is said to be approximately around five years of age.
The monkey has since then been kept in an enclosed area.  A sad Bieber who is attached to his pet, had to leave it at the airport before continuing his tour. Perhaps he thought that if pop legend Michael Jackson could carry his pet chimpanzee Bubbles, even he could.
The capuchins are considered popular as pets in the United States. But, what Bieber forgot was that Germany followed its own laws. Guess he should have done more homework before carrying his pet. Nevertheless for now, he will have to be without his pet until he completes his tour.
The Canadian singer is slated to perform in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Dormund and Cologne in Germany, during the first week of April.

Hug and Kiss ‘em & Hold ‘em close to you!

From the moment I conceived, it was my fantasy to have a super tactile bond with my child after he/she would be born (for the longest possible time, I felt it would be a girl!). After my son was born, things became different and the first three months were extremely painful feeding him or holding him thanks to my C-section stitches. So all maternal feelings vanished into thin air and all I could think was sleep or having “me-time”.  There was hardly a chance to cuddle up with him! Post partum depression had hit me big time and me not being able to calm down a screaming infant had dipped my morale too. Motherhood was nothing like I had imagined it would be! Besides I was terrified that my son would not accept me if I didn’t develop a bond early on. Of course, that did not happen. It was a mom’s fear that had spoken. After he entered the infamous toddler phase, I became the quintessential “villain” for my son – the usual don’t do this and that. Yet again, my dreams of becoming...

Push the "Fight, not flight button"!!

September 10 marks World Suicide Prevention day every year! This day began to be observed in 2003. Every individual has either undergone some trauma or been undergoing a bad experience over a period of time.  The pandemic has worsened the situation, isolating people more. Work-from-home jobs, no-socializing, and no-human touch have increased cases of depression, and suicide has become a common buzzword now. Counselling centres are buzzing with ever ringing telephone lines and more people reaching out to counsellors, parenting coaches and life coaches for help.
